| New project Supersonic Lovers is born! A collaboration with my friend Marcello Giordani from Parma influenced from NY Disco and 80’s boogie. Debut release on belgian label radius supported by Laurent Garnier, Prince Thomas, Funk D’Void, Aereoplane, Matthew Johnson, and more. Supersonic Lovers “Dance, Prance & Boogie” goes with “Summer Sweat” a sweet marriage of Italo and NY Disco, not so harsh as the straight up metallic sound of Italy this has soft edges, with some nice electric piano, weird underwater synth sounds and a punishing beat. On the flip we have “Nero Boogie” which as the name suggests has 80s boogie coursing through its veins. Add in some nice synth stabs, rattling percussion and a couple of vocal samples too. Last up is “Driving On Broadway” a more organic sounding track, with a big boogie bass, phased synth noises, sharp beats and many sounds reminiscent of Metro Area in the latter stages. | |
