| After the success of the “Star Wash EP” Space Ranger present two new boogie bangers from their voyage to the stars in order to make the wait for their debut album (due out in October 2010) a lot more bearable. “Superstring” rides a similar groove to Mark E’s “R&B Drunkie” - fat, in a nu-boogie style! Madrid-based producer Rayko slows this track down a tad and gives it a deep cosmic twist. Going for a funky Chic style dancefloor-filling filter-disco sound we have the ace “Shave Me I’m Famous” instrumental. Italian producer Ajello turns the track on its head, falttening out the funk factor in favour of driving arpeggiated space disco. Like the first EP, this could prove to be an underground disco essential. | |
